Anthem at Living Water is a leadership development program designed to empower and instruct young adults who are passionate about following Jesus. Anthem is geared towards students ages 18-23. Students wholeheartedly pursue God’s call on their life through discovering lives of meaning and ministry.
Anthem is a full-time, 9-month program (September-June) where students are immersed into three pools of learning: hands-on training, curricular studies, and personal discipleship.
Students serve full-time at Living Water and grow exponentially in their understanding of God, themselves, and others. They deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Word of God, develop disciplines in both personal and public arenas of life, and gain confidence in God’s unique call on their life. At the end of the year, Anthem students and interns go on a mission trip either nationally or internationally.
One thing that sets Anthem apart from other discipleship programs is its focus on the local church. We have been called to develop young ministry leaders who will be able to serve the Lord faithfully and fruitfully in local church settings.
Students seeking to bolster their leadership abilities have the option to apply for a second year of Anthem. Students are then placed in leadership positions in a specific department. These departments range from Worship Arts to Junior High ministry to Anthem itself. Students build on the foundational already laid through the first year program.
After a second year, students may choose to participate in a third, and final, year of Anthem. This year is an internship where students take on additional responsibilities in specific departments, sometimes even leading their own ministry. This year is specifically catered to students looking to enter into full-time, vocational ministry and partnered with schooling throughout the year.
